The win was the third in a row for Washington, marking the team's longest win streak since the end of November, when the Huskies were 5-0 to start the season.
With the win, Washington has now won 17-straight games against Washington State. The Cougars last defeated Washington on Feb. 25, 1995.
Washington has won 22 of its last 24 games at Bank of America Arena.
With six assists today, Giuliana Mendiola closed to within 13 of the UW career record of 559 set by Leteia Hughley from 1982-85.
Andrea Lalum's 15 points moved her past Laurie Merlino into 12th on Washington's all-time scoring list. Lalum now has 1,268 career points, and needs 240 more this season to crack UW's all-time top-10.
Freshman Cheri Craddock's 11 points were a career-high. Craddock scored six of her 11 points during the Huskies' 18-0 run in the middle of the first half.
Cameo Hicks' six assists were a career-high, breaking by two her previous high of four set earlier this year.
Washington's 18-point win was its 11th double-digit victory this season. In fact, the Huskies have not beaten an opponent by fewer than 11 points all year.
Coming off of two consecutive games in which they put five players into double figures in scoring, the Huskies could only put two players on the board at all through the first 7:36 of today's game, with Andrea Lalum and Cameo Hicks scoring six each to put the Huskies up, 12-9. By halftime, however, four different players had scored at least eight points for Washington, including Hicks (9), Lalum (8), Giuliana Mendiola (8) and Cheri Craddock (8).
