2024: Set PRs indoors and out in the triple jump in her final season, scored for the first time at Pac-12s and reached first career NCAA Prelims β¦ got fifth-place in the triple jump at the Pac-12 Championships, leaping 41-3 ΒΌ β¦ had a career-best mark of 41-7 at the Fresno State Invite to go to No. 3 in school history β¦ took fifth at the Mt. SAC Relays with a best of 41-1 ΒΎ β¦ finished 44th overall at the NCAA West Prelims with a mark of 40-6 ΒΌ β¦ second at the Brutus Hamilton Invite, jumping 40-10 ΒΌ β¦ indoors, opened the season with a PR, going 40-2 ΒΎ to go to sixth in school history β¦ went 39-11 ΒΌ at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet β¦ earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors and a spot on the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2023: Had a season-best triple jump outdoors of 40-7 ΒΎ at the Stanford Invitational to take seventh β¦ went 39-11 ΒΌ in the triple jump at the Fresno State Invite β¦ competed at Pac-12s but did not land a legal triple jump β¦ indoors, tied her PR with a mark of 40-0 at the Husky Classic for the event win β¦ also had an indoor long jump PR of 18-10 at the Husky Classic β¦ landed a 39-10 Β½ triple at the UW Invitational for second β¦ named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2022: Redshirted the season ... a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member.
2021: The top triple jumper on the squad in her first season, competing at the Pac-12 Championships and making the Husky top-10 list β¦ set a PR of 40-8 ΒΌ at the Jim Bush Legends Invite to win the event and go to No. 6 in school history β¦ was 13th at the Pac-12 Championships in the triple jump, going 40-7 Β½ β¦ won the long jump at the UW-WSU Dual with a wind-aided season-best of 40-11 ΒΎ and was third in the long jump at a seasonβs best of 19-0 β¦ third in the triple jump at the Jim Click Shootout at 40-3 Β½ and long jumped 18-6 β¦ indoors, won all three triple jump competitions in the Dempsey, with a best mark of 40-0 at the UW Indoor Preview, good for the No. 8 mark in school history β¦ made the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
High School and Personal: Born in Missoula, Montana β¦ parents are Jennifer and Jared Heggen β¦ has one older sister, Taylor, and one older brother, Slade β¦ Slade played baseball at Oregon and Gonzaga and father wrestled at Yale β¦ broke the Montana state record in the triple jump in 2019 as a junior with a leap of 40-7 1/2 β¦ did not get to compete as a senior due to Covid-19 pandemic β¦ won Montana state titles in the triple jump as a junior and a sophomore and was second as a freshman β¦ won the 2019 Simplot Games triple jump with a mark of 39-10 1/4 β¦ eighth at the 2019 New Balance Indoor Nationals triple jump β¦ took seventh at the 2018 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships with a triple jump of 39-4 3/4 β¦ another Montana state title in the 100m hurdles as a sophomore β¦ two-time USATF All-American and named USATF Best Female Athlete in Montana two times β¦ competed at level 9 gymnastics until the age of 15 β¦ a three-time national DECA qualifier.
