2021-22 (Track): Set personal-bests in the 1,500m and 5,000m and advanced to the NCAA Prelims β¦ placed 32nd overall in the 1,500-meters at the West Prelims, running 4:24.20 β¦ was 10th in the 5,000-meters at the Pac-12 Championships, running a PR of 16:21.56 β¦ also finished 14th in the 1,500m at Pac-12s β¦ set 1,500m best of 4:18.86 at the Portland Track Festival β¦ second in the 1,500m at the UW-WSU Dual, going 4:20.88 β¦ indoors, opened with a 3,000-meters time of 9:29.19 at the Wooo Pig Classic β¦ a season-best mile time of 4:45.53 at the Husky Classic β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team ...Β (Cross Country): A major impact in her first season as a Husky, scoring at all three championship meets to help the Dawgs take 11th at the NCAA Championships β¦ at the national meet, was the No. 3 scorer for the Dawgs, placing 102nd overall in a time of 20:31 β¦ earned All-West Region honors with a top-25 regional finish, as she was 21st in 20:28, the fourth finisher on the squad β¦ at her first Pac-12 Championships, placed 21st overall as the No. 2 scorer in a time of 21:30 β¦ the third Husky across the line at the Wisconsin Invitational, in 103rd place overall, in 21:19 β¦ ran in the B race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite, placing 11th overall in 17:33 for 5k.
2020-21 (At Princeton): A second consecutive Ivy League season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic β¦ raced once at the Trial of Miles meet in May, running a 5,000-meters in 16:23.15.
2019-20 (Track At Princeton): Indoors, ran a mile best of 4:41.49 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational β¦ posted a 3,000-meters PR of 9:23.93 at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge β¦ indoor season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic β¦ (Cross Country At Princeton): Placed 27th overall at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, running 20:49 for 6k β¦ finished 17th at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships β¦ placed 10th at the Henry Mercer Invitational and was seventh at the season-opening Fordham Fiasco/Ed Joyce Memorial meet.
2018-19 (Track At Princeton): Advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA East Preliminary Championships in the 1,500-meters β¦ was 18th overall in the East Prelims quarterfinal round, running 4:24.77, after advancing through round one with a time of 4:21.02 β¦ set an 800m best of 2:10.71 at the Army West Point Twilight meet β¦ fifth in the Ivy League Outdoor 1,500-meters final and was seventh on the 4x800m relay β¦ at the Raleigh Relays, was 10th in the 1,500m in 4:22.29 β¦ indoors, took sixth in the mile at the Ivy League Indoor Championships in 4:48.68 and third on the 4x880yd relay β¦ clocked a mile time of 4:45.33 at the Fastrack National Invite β¦ a 1,000m PR of 2:48.71 at the Wesley A. Brown Invite β¦ (Cross Country At Princeton): Raced at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, placing 117th overall in 21:12, the No. 3 Princeton finisher, helping the Tigers place 21st overall β¦ earned All-Region honors with an eighth-place finish at Mid-Atlantic Regionals, helping Princeton win the team title β¦ placed 27th at the Ivy League XC Champs.
2017-18 (Track At Princeton): Raced at the Ivy League Outdoor Champs as a freshman, taking 19th in the 1,500-meters in 4:33.93 β¦ a season-best 1,500m time of 4:28.07 at the Florida Relays β¦ indoors, took fourth in the mile at the Ivy League Indoor meet in 4:52.97 and was fifth on the 4x800m relay β¦ a season-best mile of 4:49.30 at the Fastrack National Invite β¦ second in the 800m at the HYP meet in 2:13.29 β¦ (Cross Country At Princeton): Finished 31st at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in her first fall, the No. 3 finisher for Princeton β¦ crossed in 28th-place at the Ivy League XC Championships β¦ was 56th at the Penn State National Open β¦ at the Paul Short Gold meet, was 32nd overall in 20:37 for 6k β¦ awarded Rosengarten Cross Country Freshman Award based on sportsmanship, performance, and improvement.
High School and Persona: Born in Torrance, California β¦ parents are Miranda and Tom Cantine β¦ has one younger brother, Aidan, and one younger sister, Maya β¦ father played tennis at Swarthmore College and brother now runs track and cross country at Swarthmore β¦ was the 2016 Washington State 3A runner-up on the track at both 800-meters (2:13.44) and 1,600-meters (4:49.34) β¦ as a sophomore, was third at state in the 800m and sixth in the 1,600m β¦ a high school mile PR of 4:51.72 at the 2016 Stanford Invite β¦ was runner-up at the 3A Washington State Cross Country Championships three times, as a freshman, sophomore, and senior β¦ was fifth at the 2014 Nike BorderClash and sixth in 2013.
