2022: Excellent final season as he continued to set PRs in both the hammer and weight โฆ big PR by over eight feet at his final Pac-12 Championships, throwing 218-0, and placing a career-best fifth โฆ that mark moved him to fourth in UW history in the hammer โฆ placed 21st overall at the NCAA West Prelims with a toss of 207-2 โฆ threw 214-11 at the Harry Jerome Classic in June โฆ second at the UW-WSU Dual with a launch of 209-11 โฆ a toss of 208-0 at the Beach Invitational for 11th โฆ indoors, went over 70 feet on two occasions, finishing ranked 26th nationally, with a PR of 70-6 ยฝ from the UW Invitational โฆ that mark ranked third all-time at UW โฆ also threw 70-6 ยผ at the Husky Classic โฆ fourth at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite with aย toss of 69-8 โฆ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2021: Made huge improvements in his final season in the hammer and weight, scoring for the first time at the Pac-12 Championships and making his first NCAA West Preliminary meet as a fifth-year senior โฆ improved his hammer PR by 13 feet in his last season, getting a final PR of 207-8 at the Pac-12 Championships where he placed seventh โฆ that PR ranked him No. 7 in school history โฆ was 26th overall in the hammer at NCAA Prelims, going 199-0 โฆ went over 200-feet for the first time at the Jim Click Shootout, throwing 202-3 โฆ second at the UW-WSU Dual with a best of 201-5 โฆ indoors, PRโd in the weight throw by over six feet over his final two meets, first going 64-7 ยผ at the UW Invitational and then going 67-11 at the Husky Classic to shoot up to No. 3 in school history.
2020 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Made more improvements in the weight throw indoors, scoring for the first time at the conference meet โฆ improved his PR to 61-2 1/4, the No. 10 mark in school history, at the Don Kirby Invite โฆ placed seventh at the MPSF Championships with a mark of 60-3 1/4 โฆ over 60 feet for the first time at the UW Invitational, taking third at 60-6 3/4.
2019: The top hammer thrower on the squad outdoors, getting a huge 12-foot PR to close his season at the Ken Shannon Invitational, which he won with a toss of 194-feet, 3-inches โฆ previous PR came at the UW-WSU Dual where he was third at 182-3 โฆ indoors, upped his PR in the weight throw to 59-10 1/4 at the UW Invitational, going to No. 9 in school history โฆ was 13th in the weight throw at the MPSF Championships with a best of 58-6 3/4 โฆ second at the Last Chance Elite Meet throwing 59-7 3/4.
2018: The lone weight and hammer thrower on the squad, upping his PR significantly in both events โฆ increased his hammer PR by 22 feet on the year, getting a best of 177-1 at the UW-WSU Dual to place fourth โฆ won the hammer at the Ken Shannon Invite at 176-2 and also won the shot put at 48-10 ยผ โฆ third in the UW-WSU Dual in the shot to score a point at 48-4 ยพ โฆ eighth in the hammer at the Pepsi Team Invite at 168-0 โฆ indoors, set a season-best in the weight throw of 54-6 ยพ at the MPSF Championships to finish 16th.
2017: Redshirted the season, competing three times unattached in the hammer throw โฆ best mark came at the Ken Shannon Invitational where he threw 155-2.
High School and Personal: Born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia โฆ parents are Kimberly and Wade Jost โฆ has one older brother, Carson, and one older sister Courtney and a younger sister, Emma โฆ sister Courtney also ran track at Utah โฆ had the fourth-best shot put in the state in 2016 and was the runner-up at the 2016 4A state championships, getting a PR of over two feet in the finals of 59-0 ยพ โฆ second in the Narrows League as a senior with a shot put of 55-0 โฆ got a win at the 2016 Oregon Relays in the shot at 54-11 ยผ โฆ also made state as a junior, taking fifth in the shot put at 52-7 ยพ, and made state in the discus, finishing 12th at 136-10 โฆ male athlete of the meet at 2016 Arnie Young Invite after winning shot put at 56-9 and discus at 140-7 โฆ graduated with a 3.6 GPA.
