2019 Season (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in 11 matches, making two starts and recording 521 minutes played ... recorded first collegiate point in first collegiate start in Washington's 4-0 win over San Francisco (9/2/19) ... played full 90 in two matches, both on the road against Pac-12 teams, first in Washington's 1-0 win at California and again in the Huskies' 3-1 win at Oregon State.
2018 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Did not see any action for the Huskies during the 2018 season.
2017 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in two matches ... made collegiate debut in the final minute against Drexel (9/14) ... wrapped up the final two minutes of the match against Utah Valley (9/21).
2016 Season (Freshman): Redshirted his first season with the Huskies in 2016.
High School/Club: Comes from Centennial, Colo. and Arapahoe High School and played club soccer for Real Colorado ... a three-year academy player and the team captain in 2014-15, starting every game but one that he missed due to injury ... a member of the 2013 Colorado state champion team and Region IV semifinalists ... led Real Colorado to the #11 seed during the 2014-15 Academy season, scoring two goals out of the back.

He possesses the pace and size to handle Pac-12 forwards physically, but, just as importantly, Ryan has the right mindset to be a great defender here at UW. He has a very steady temperament that allows him to stay calm and read the game even in the highest pressure moments. I believe Ryan has the talent and mindset to be a leader of some great Husky teams down the line.”
