2020 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Enjoyed his best indoor season, fully back from injuries of previous years β¦ set a new indoor PR of 6-9 3/4 to finish ninth in the high jump at the MPSF Championships β¦ opened up the year with a fifth-place UW Indoor Preview finish with a clearance of 6-8 3/4 β¦ made 6-8 at the Don Kirby Invite in New Mexico β¦ stepped in for a leg on the 4x400m relay at MPSFs, finishing ninth β¦ a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection.
2019: Returned to action in the high jump during the outdoor season β¦ best clearance was 6-4 3/4 at the Ken Shannon Invite, taking third β¦ first meet back was the UW-WSU Dual where he was fifth in the high jump at 6-3 1/4.
2018: Missed the season due to injury.
2017: Competed four times in the high jump during the indoor season but redshirted the outdoor season β¦ indoors, had a season-best clearance of 6-8 ΒΎ which tied for the best on the team at the UW Invitational β¦ also cleared 6-6 ΒΎ twice, at the UW Indoor Preview and the Husky Classic β¦ competed at the MPSF Championships, clearing 6-5 to take 19th in the high jump.
High School and Personal: Born in Ventura, California β¦ parents are Stacy and Matt Fausset β¦ has one younger brother, Lance β¦ one of the top high jumpers in the state of California, he was fifth at the state championships as a senior in 2016 with a make of 6-8 β¦ cleared his personal-best of 6-feet, 10-inches at the CIF Div. 2 finals, taking second β¦ a three-time Channel League high jump champion β¦ also made state as a junior and finished ninth, making 6-7 β¦ four times named All-Ventura County β¦ also lettered three years in basketball, was a team captain, and named to several all-tournament teams β¦ graduated with a 4.2 grade point average.
