Daniella McLean is a highly regarded international prospect who burst onto the recruiting scene later than most. For the past four years, she has lived away from home, preparing to train and play in the United States. She recently broke Darrow School’s record for blocks in a game with eight. She received an MVP award and a rebounding award from Syracuse Academy, where she continued to elevate her resume while scoring over 1,000 points. McLean joins the Huskies after competing for iDream Girls Basketball on the AAU circuit.

Daniella is the daughter of Anneisha and Omar McLean. She has a sister, Gabriella, and a brother, Jonathan. McLean has lived and studied in North Carolina, New York, and Canada. She intends to either study Sports Marketing or Communication and aims to play professional basketball. After her playing career, she plans to continue working in sports.
