Parents are Todd and Saori Takayoshi … Todd played baseball at the University of Hawai’i and pro ball in the Indians and Angels’ organizations … siblings include an older sister, Taegan, and younger sister, Taryn … interested in majoring in communications and one day becoming an entrepreneur … favorite movies include: Bull Durham, Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Stepbrothers, Stand By Me and Forrest Gump … favorite TV shows are The Office, That 70s Show and Family Guy.

Hitting my first home run at Kennedy Catholic High School because that’s where my dad played and where he also hit his first high school home run.

I love how baseball rewards the people who respect the game and work hard.

I always eat or drink some sort of caffeine before I play.
Favorite Player
It has to be Mike Trout. Not only because he’s the best to ever step on a field, he’s always smiling and having a good time enjoying a game he loves.

I can play the ukulele … I have two dogs … I like to have fun with my teammates.
Why Washington?
It’s a great school and I grew up a Dawg fan and watching games my whole childhood.
