Saw action in seven games in 2018 for Wenatchee Valley College … threw in five games for Yakima Valley CC as a freshman in 2016, highlighted by a one-hit, 15-0 win over Green River … lettered three times at East Valley HS playing baseball, earning first team All-CWAC honors as a senior and sophomore and second team as a junior … was East Valley Athlete of the Year in 2015 … totaled 16 wins and 182 strikeouts on the hill during his high school career, posting a 1.68 ERA (158.2 IP, 38 ER) … as a senior, set school records with a 0.85 ERA and .154 batting average against … played for his father, Jesse, at East Valley.

Early memory of baseball?
When I was the bat boy for my dad’s high school team (East Valley) and I went out to celebrate a home run by Kevin Komstadius.
Favorite baseball player?
Clayton Kershaw because he pitches with raw emotion, making him exciting to watch.
Why Washington?
I chose Washington because the program is one of the best in the country, as well as one of the top academic institutions in the world.
