St (1.0 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, K) ... threw final inning of combined 4-0 shutout vs. Sac State a day after going 3 IP (4H, 2R, 3K) in 3-2 win in which he picked up his first career save ... threw 3.2 innings of relief Feb. 26 at St. Mary’s (4H, 2R, ER, 2BB, 5K) ... debuted out of the pen at Santa Clara in GM 2 of DH (0.1 IP, 3 BB).

PERSONAL
Parents are Ron and Carla Burgmann ... has an older sister, Sommer ... interested in majoring in communications and pursuing a career in sports journalism ... selected in the 30th round (916th overall) by St. Louis in the 2016 MLB Draft.

VAUXHALL ACADEMY OF BASEBALL 
Named to 2016 Rawlings Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American Team as well as the Canada/Puerto Rico All Region 1^st Team … member of the Canadian Junior National Team from 2014-16 and Team BC 18U from 2013-15 … in 2016 he had 4 scoreless innings, allowed 7 hits, and earned 4 strikeouts against MLB prospects … in 2015 at Worlds Juniors in Japan he was 2-0 with a 1.88 ERA, and 16 strikeouts in 14 and 1/3 innings ... played for Kansas City Royals Area Code team in 2015.
