2016-17 (Oklahoma): As a freshman at Oklahoma, Mulkey played in all 33 games, making 18 starts, and averaged 3.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. She recorded the third-most blocks (62) by an OU freshman and tied for the seventh-most blocked shots in a single-season by a Sooner. Mulkey also led all Big 12 freshmen and ranked fifth in the Big 12 in blocks per game, while finishing with the second-most blocks by a freshman in Division I.
High School: Mulkey, the nation’s tallest (6’9”) basketball player in the 2016 class, was considered one of the best centers in the nation coming out of Cypress Woods HS and rated the No. 1 post and No. 12 overall by ESPN HoopGurlz. Mulkey was named a preseason All-American by USA Today prior to her senior season, finishing with averages of 11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game as a senior and earned an invitation to the McDonald’s All-American game. She also competed in the Jordan Brands Classic. Mulkey averaged 10.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game as a junior to earn all-state honors, leading Cypress Woods to its first state championship in program history. While at Cypress Woods, Mulkey played alongside Erica and Olivia Ogwumike. Mulkey won two gold medals with USA Basketball, helping Team USA to first-place finishes at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships and the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships.
