2021 Pac-12 Pole Vault Champion
2022: Fought through a back injury that caused her to miss over two months of action, and capped off her career by winning a second Pac-12 title and reaching a first NCAA Championships β¦ had just two outdoor meets and a season-best of 12-5 Β½ going into the Pac-12 Championships, but she won a second-straight title by clearing 13-2 Β½ in wet and windy conditions β¦ advanced to first NCAAs by clearing a season-best of 13-5 ΒΎ on a third attempt at West Prelims β¦ at nationals, earning All-America Second Team honors by making 13-3 Β½ for 15th-place β¦ indoors, cleared a best of 13-7 ΒΌ at the season-opening Spokane Invitational, tying for ninth in school history β¦ won the UW Indoor Preview and the UW Invitational, going 13-2 ΒΌ β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2021: Provided one of the big highlights of the season for the team with her upset win at the Pac-12 Championships, setting multiple PRs en route to a winning clearance of 13-9 ΒΌ at USC β¦ was seeded fifth going in and had a third-attempt make at 13-5 ΒΌ but then PRβd at 13-7 ΒΌ and then had a first-attempt make at 13-9 ΒΌ to take over the lead and win β¦ that winning height moved her to No. 8 in school history β¦ qualified for NCAA West Prelims, taking 26th overall with a make of 12-10 ΒΌ β¦ second at the West Coast Relays with a clearance of 13-2 Β½ β¦ got a win at the Stanford Invitational, making 13-1 Β½ β¦ second at the UW-WSU Dual at 12-9 β¦ indoors, tied her best clearance with a 13-5 ΒΎ make at the Husky Classic β¦ opened her season with a jump of 13-2 ΒΌ at the UW Indoor Preview β¦ made the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2020 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Improved her PR in the pole vault indoors and was the fourth-place finisher at the MPSF Championships β¦ set a PR of 13-5 3/4, a six-inch PR, at the Don Kirby Invite in New Mexico, winning the unseeded section β¦ went 13-5 1/4 at the MPSF Championships for fourth β¦ opened the season going 12-11 3/4 at the UW Indoor Preview β¦ a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection β¦ earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
2019: Upped her personal-bests indoors and out in the pole vault and scored at both conference championships β¦ outdoors, tied for seventh at the Pac-12 Championships with a clearance of 12-10 3/4 β¦ made 12-8 to take second at the UW-WSU Dual β¦ indoors, set a new PR of 13-3 to finish sixth at the UW-WSU Dual β¦ made 12-6 3/4 at the Last Chance Elite Meet for fifth-place.
2018: Completed a full indoor season in the pole vault, then redshirted the outdoor season β¦ indoors, vaulted at the MPSF Championships, tying for 11th-place with a make of 12-3 Β½ β¦ tied for 12th at the UW Invitational with a season-best 12-4 ΒΎ β¦ also cleared 12-4 Β½ at the SPU Final Qualifier.
High School and Personal: Born in Redmond, Wash. β¦ parents are Melissa and David Barton β¦ has one older sister, Kara β¦ both parents earned degrees from Washington β¦ a talented all-around athlete as she was team captain three different sports, volleyball, gymnastics, and track β¦ was the Woodinville High School Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year her senior year β¦ was the 2017 Washington 4A State Championships runner-up in the pole vault, clearing 12-0 at the state meet β¦ made a PR of 12-6 to take second at the district meet as a senior β¦ won the 2017 Nike Eason Invitational with a clearance of 12-3 β¦ reached state all four years of her career in the vault, taking fourth as a junior, fifth as a sophomore, and seventh as a freshman β¦ also made state as a sophomore on the 4x200m relay β¦ helped her team win three gymnastics State titles in 2014-16 β¦ a two-time Academic 4A State Champion in volleyball β¦ graduated with a 3.96 grade point average.
