LOS ANGELES โ Washington's winning streak was snapped by No. 10 UCLA on Saturday as the Huskies fell 7-3 at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Washington moves to 18-18 on the season at 9-5 in Big Ten games while UCLA improves to 27-7 and 11-3 in the conference.

The Huskies struck first when Jackson Hotchkiss came home on an RBI double from Trevor Kole in the top of the second inning. UCLA responded in the bottom half of the inning, however.

The Bruins then scored four runs in the fourth inning, taking the lead.

The Huskies used a pair of solo shots to close the gap, with Casen Taggart launching the first. He hit a no-doubter to right field for his fourth home run of the year in the fifth inning.

Sam DeCarlo hit the second homer, coming in the eighth inning. It's the sixth of the season for DeCarlo, the most of any Husky.

Jackson Thomas is credited with the loss on the day after tossing 4.0 innings with five hits and five runs allowed against three strikeouts.

Reilly McAdams took over for the fifth and sixth innings, allowing two runs on three hits with three strikeouts. Peysen Sweeney and Will Woodward finished off the game for Washington, each tossing a scoreless inning.
