
Washington Set To Host Vermont Sunday

SEATTLE — Washington's five-game homestand continues with the Huskies hosting Vermont for the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Last season, the Catamounts finished as the America East Tournament champions to clinch a berth in the NCAA Tournament. This year, they've begun the season 4-1, while Washington enters the contest undefeated and on the heels of a strong defensive performance in a 61-43 win against Fresno State.
The game vs. Vermont tips off Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2:00 p.m. PT in Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash. The game will air on B1G+ with Elise Woodward and Charli Turner Thorne on the call. Gary Hill Jr. will call the action on 190 KPTR-AM.

LAST SEASON
The Huskies ended a seven-year drought and clinched an NCAA Tournament berth after an impressive Big Ten debut. Washington led the conference in field goal percentage (49.5%), 3-point percentage (40.1%), and free throw percentage (83.6%) during conference play last season. Elle Ladine was named All-Big Ten Second Team, while Sayvia Sellers and Dalayah Daniels were named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.

Vermont is 4-1 in their non-conference games to open the season.
