
Four Huskies Earn All-Conference Honors

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Four Washington women's basketball student-athletes have been recognized with All-Conference honors, the Pac-12 announced today.
Junior forward Dalayah Daniels (All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention & All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention), sophomore guard Elle Ladine (All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention), senior forward Lauren Schwartz (All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention), and freshman guard Sayvia Sellers (All-Freshman Team) were all awarded Pac-12 postseason honors, as voted on by the conference coaches.
SAYVIA SELLERS
Sellers has been named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, becoming the first UW freshman to be named to the First Team since 2016-17.
Sellers is the 15th player in program history to be named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman First Team.
In conference play, Sellers recorded 8.3 points per game, 3.0 rebound per game, 2.2 assists per game, and led the team in steals (22) and steals per game (1.2). Her steals per game ranks No. 15 amongst all of conference players.
In Washington's win vs. Oregon on February 23, Sellers recorded 10 assists, becoming the second freshman in UW history to have 10+ assists in a game (first since 1982), the first UW player to record 10+ assists since 2017, and the 15th player in program history to record 10+ assists.
DALAYAH DANIELS
Daniels has been named both All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention. Last season, Daniels was also named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.
In conference play, Daniels recorded 11.6 points per game, led the team with 6.8 rebounds per game, tied with Schwartz to lead the team in made field goals (85), had 1.1 steals per game, and led the team in blocks (36) and blocks per game (2.0). Her blocks per game ranks No. 4 amongst all of conference players, offensive rebounds (2.33) ranks No. 10, and rebounds per game ranks No. 12.
Nationally, in all games played, Daniels ranks No. 35 in blocked shots (53), No. 41 in blocks per game (1.83), and No. 223 in rebounds per game (7.0).
Daniels has recorded many milestones this season, including career blocked shots No. 100 and No. 150, career rebounds No. 500 and No. 600, career steal No. 100, and surpassed the 1,000 career points milestone.
Earlier in the season, Daniels broke into the UW Top 10 for career blocked shots as a Husky, and continued to climb, currently sitting at No. 3 on the UW career blocked shots list. In 60 games played as a Husky, she recorded UW block No. 100 to become the second-fastest player in program history to reach the milestone.
Daniels is also climbing up the UW Top 10 list for blocked shots in a season, with 53 so far, which ranks No. 5 in program history.
ELLE LADINE
Ladine has been named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. Last season, Ladine was named Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention.
In conference play, Ladine was second on the team with 11.8 points per game, and recorded 4.6 rebounds per game.
Ladine has started in every game she's played in this season, has four 20+-point games, and recorded her first two double-doubles of her career.
LAUREN SCHWARTZ
Schwartz has been named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. Last season, Schwartz was also named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.
In conference play, Schwartz led the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game, tied with Daniels for made field goals (85), led the team with 30 made three-point field goals, and recorded 3.1 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, and 1.1 steals per game. Her scoring average ranks No. 17 amongst all conference players. In the Pac-12, she also ranks No. 13 in three-point field goal percentage (38.0%), No. 12 in made three-point field goals per game (1.67), and No. 4 in minutes played (37.16).
This season, Schwartz has recorded major milestones. She recorded career made-three pointer No. 150, career made field goal No. 500, career steal No. 100, and career assist No. 300. Schwartz also surpassed 1,500 career points.
