
Washington Falls To No. 6 Colorado

SEATTLE – Washington women's basketball (13-8, 3-7 Pac-12) fell to No. 6 Colorado (19-3, 9-2 Pac-12) 57-80 Sunday afternoon in Alaska Airlines Arena.
The game was the highest attended of the season so far, and the 4,900 fans were loud, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Dalayah Daniels put the first points on the board for the Huskies with a jumper, and in the second quarter, converted an and-one opportunity to be in double-digit scoring before halftime. Daniels finished the game leading the team in scoring with 14 points and five rebounds.
Sayvia Sellers was the other Husky in double-digit scoring, finishing the game with 12 points and three steals.
Chloe Briggs and Ari Long both added eight points each, while Teagan Brown recorded seven points and two steals.
In the third quarter, Lauren Schwartz recorded career steal No. 100.
Next up, Washington hosts No. 4 Stanford on Friday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. PT in Alaska Airlines Arena.
