LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Washington women's basketball (13-6, 3-5 Pac-12) took down No. 11 USC (14-4, 4-4 Pac-12) 62-59 Sunday afternoon in the Galen Center.
"I thought we played with great toughness, togetherness, and joy today," head coach Tina Langley said. "This group is so much fun to coach. They are selfless and driven to be the best we can be. Lots to learn from this game as always, but I love our focus on the process and the growth we continue to show."
The Huskies took control of the game and led for all but 1:10, showing great energy and toughness to defeat USC for the first time since 2020 and first time on the road since 2017.
Going into halftime, UW had the 34-23 lead and was shooting 53.6% while holding USC to 33.3%.
