
Five Huskies Earn Pac-12 Postseason Honors

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Five different Huskies on the Washington women's basketball team received Pac-12 postseason honors as voted on by the conference head coaches, the Pac-12 announced Tuesday.
Dalayah Daniels, Lauren Schwartz, and Haley Van Dyke were named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention, Jayda Noble was named Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention, and Elle Ladine was named Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention.
Daniels, a 6-4 sophomore forward from Seattle, Wash., has played and started in every game this season.
In all Pac-12 games played, Daniels ranks fifth in the conference in field goal percentage (51.2%), fifth in blocked shots (22; 1.22 per game), and 17th in rebounding (5.56 per game). During conference play, Daniels leads the team in scoring (10.7 points per game), in rebounding, and in blocked shots.
In all games played this season, Daniels ranks sixth in the conference and 104th nationally in blocks per game (1.29), and seventh in the conference and 102nd nationally in total blocks (36). Daniels's 36 blocked shots so far this season put her at ninth in the UW Top 10 record book.
Schwartz, a 5-11 junior forward from Union, Ky., has played and started in every game this season, and leads the team in minutes.
In all Pac-12 games played, Schwartz leads the team in made three-pointers (24), and is second on the team in scoring (10.6 points per game) and assists (2.1 per game).
This season, Schwartz reached a couple major collegiate milestones when she surpassed 1,000 career points and 200 career assists.
Van Dyke, a 6-1 senior forward from Walnut Creek, Calif., has played and started in every game this season.
In all Pac-12 games played, Van Dyke ranks tied for 15th in the conference in steals (22 steals; 1.22 per game). During conference play, Van Dyke is second on the team in steals, and third on the team in scoring (9.5 points per game) and rebounds (5.2 per game).
This season, Van Dyke reached a few major collegiate milestones. First, she surpassed 1,000 career points, becoming the 29th Husky ever to do so. Van Dyke also recorded career assist No. 200 and career steal No. 200, and is just one steal away from tying for 10th in the UW Top 10 record book.
Van Dyke had earned Preseason All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition, as voted on by the media, back in October. This is Van Dyke's third time being named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.
Noble, a 5-11 sophomore guard from Spokane, Wash., has started in every game she's played this season.
In all Pac-12 games played, Noble ranks seventh in the conference in steals (29; 1.61 per game), ninth in assists (3.5 per game), ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.47), and 20th in rebounding (5.33 per game). During conference play, Noble leads the team in steals and assists, and is second on the team in rebounds.
With 47 total steals so far all season, Noble ranks fifth in the conference and 198th nationally in steals per game (1.81).
Ladine, a 5-11 freshman guard from San Francisco, Calif., has played in every game this season for the Huskies.
In all Pac-12 games played, Ladine leads all Husky freshmen and is fourth on the team in scoring with 6.7 points per game.
Ladine earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors earlier in the season after scoring a career high 21 points to help lift the Huskies over then-No. 2 Stanford in Seattle.
