
Washington Loses Regular Season Finale Battle at No. 17 UCLA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Washington women's basketball team (15-13, 7-11) concluded the regular season with a close 62-70 loss to No. 17 UCLA (22-8, 11-7) Saturday afternoon in Pauley Pavilion.
It was a back-and-forth game, seeing 14 lead changes throughout as the Huskies battled to the end.
Haley Van Dyke led UW in scoring with 12 points, and recorded a milestone career assist No. 200.
Elle Ladine (11 points) and Hannah Stines (11) were the other two Huskies in double digits. Ladine's three made three-pointers is a new career high, while Hannah Stines's three made three-pointers tied her career high.
Jayda Noble led both teams with nine rebounds, and also added eight points.
Up next for the Huskies, Washington heads to the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev., with the First Round scheduled for Wednesday, March 1.
