
Washington Defeats Pacific 81-64

SEATTLE – It was another hot-shooting game for the Washington women's basketball team (3-0, 0-0) as the Huskies defeated Pacific (2-1, 0-0 WCC) 81-64 Wednesday night in Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Huskies started quickly, shooting 60% (71.4% from three), and kept it going into the second quarter. A big three from Chloe Briggs at the buzzer gave UW the 43-28 lead going into halftime.
Washington shot 51.6% on the game and 50% from three (11 made three-pointers), and for the third game in a row to start the season, every Husky scored.
Dalayah Daniels got the scoring started, and finished the game as one of four Huskies in double digits, leading all scorers with 17. Hannah Stines (12 points), Briggs (11), and Lauren Schwartz (10) were the others in double digits.
Elle Ladine led the team in rebounding with eight, and Sayvia Sellers set a new career high in steals with a game-leading five. Washington shared the ball well, recording 21 assists, with Sellers leading the team with five.
