
Huskies Home Again To Face California And Stanford

SEATTLE – The Washington women's soccer team is back home at Husky Soccer Stadium this weekend as California and No. 14 Stanford come into town.
The Huskies (2-5-3, 0-1-2 Pac-12) look to bounce back from a 0-1-1 road trip at Colorado and Utah this past week.
Olivia Sekany had a career performance against Utah, on a career high nine saves to preserve the 1-1 tie. Her nine saves tied for fifth most saves by a Pac-12 goalkeeper so far this season.
Thursday's matchup against the Golden Bears (5-2-3, 1-1-1 Pac-12) is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
On Sunday, No. 14 Stanford (8-3-0, 2-1-0 Pac-12) will kickoff with the Dawgs at 12:00 p.m. and will also be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
Spectators attending soccer matches at Husky Soccer Stadium will need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test at any of the venue entrances. All venue entrances open one hour prior to the event's start time. Spectators who may have received a season-long wristband at a Husky football game can use that same wristband for entrance to soccer matches. Fans can find out more information here.

- Summer Yates has been named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. The Hermann Trophy is giving annually to the top individual collegiate soccer player in the country.
- The Huskies have outshot their opponent by a margin of 133-111. On average, over two more shots per game than their opponents.
- Entering the week, goalkeeper Olivia Sekany is tied for seventh in the Pac-12 conference is total saves (35) and sixth in saves per game (3.50). Sekany holds a .700 save percentage on the year.
- UW and Cal will be facing for the 31st time in program history. The Huskies lead the series 16-13-1. UW most recently won 2-1 in March.
