SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies (25-21, 15-9 Pac-12) conclude the regular-season, non-conference portion of their schedule on Tuesday against the Portland Pilots (20-28, 10-14 WCC). First pitch at Husky Ballpark will be at 6:05 p.m.
The Huskies are 96-48-1 all-time against the Pilots. The last time the two teams met was in 2015 when UW beat UP 6-0 at Husky Ballpark in their home opener.
The Diamond Dawgs are experiencing their best stretch of the year going 7-3 over the last 10 games.The Huskies are coming off winning two-of-three games against No. 11 UCLA and have now won three-straight Pac-12 series.
Fans at Tuesday's game will be treated to Dollar Dog night at the ballpark, where hot dogs will cost $1 at the concession stands. They will also get to see if Pac-12 Player of the Week Joe Wainhouse can hit his sixth home run in six games.
The Huskies will spend their weekend in Salt Lake City, playing a three-game series against Utah, starting Thursday. All three game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network with first pitch scheduled for 10:30 a.m. PT.
