TUCSON, Ariz. – Extra time went against the Washington Huskies Thursday, with the Huskies taking a 1-0 loss to the Arizona Wildcats in double overtime. Washington had ten shots in the game but could not find a winning goal, falling to 7-7-1 on the year.

Siena Ruelas made four saves for the Huskies in goal, helping get the game into extra time with several impressive stops as regulation wound down. Jessika Cowart, Sianna Siemonsma, and Kennedy Smith each had two shots in the game, while Ameera Hussen and Summer Yates added shots on goal to those totals as well.

"We played well in spurts, but I still think that as far as being goal dangerous on restarts, we earned plenty of them but didn't force their keeper to make many saves," said Lesle Gallimore. "We had a lot of good soccer in-between, I thought we battled physically, but if you let a game like that hang around long enough, you're going to give them chances."

		SCORING
103:05 \| The game's only goal came on the rush in the second overtime period. Arizona managed to head the ball into the net at the near corner for the 1-0 win.

		NOTES
Washington allowed only four shots in the first half of play. Yates now has 15 shots on goal on the year, a mark bested only once by a Husky freshman in the last decade. Cowart has shots in four consecutive games and eight shots in her last six. Over the last three games, Ruelas has made 17 saves.
