
Fun Weekend In Store As Huskies Host Cal

SEATTLE - After going 2-2 on the road, Washington (22-16, 8-7 Pac-12) returns to Husky Ballpark for three games against the Cal Bears (19-19, 11-7).
The series has big Pac-12 implications as Cal sits second in the Conference, while UW is tied for fourth. The Bears are Jekyll and Hyde, coming off a 3-game sweep over USC at home and have won 10-straight vs. Pac-12 opponents at home. Conversely, Cal is 1-9 in its last 10 road games, including 1-5 on the road against Pac-12 teams.

SERIES HISTORY VS. CALIFORNIA
Cal leads the all-time series over Washington 46-35. Last season, the Huskies took two out of three games in Berkeley to win their second-consecutive road series against the Bears. The Huskies won 4-2 on April 29 and then dropped their next matchup before defeating the Bears 7-4 on May 1. In Seattle, the Huskies haven't won a series against the Bears since 2009. Cal has won the last three series in Seattle and is 1-8 in those games. Last time in Seattle, Cal swept UW in 2015. The two teams first met over 100 years ago in 1911, where Washington picked up the first three wins of the all-time series.

β’ MJ Hubbs has reached base safely in 31-straight games and all but one of his 34 starts. His streak is the longest among all Pac-12 players. The senior also is riding a career-high 13 game hit streak.
β’ Jack Meggs has played 197 career games and is on the verge of becoming just the eighth Husky to play in 200 during their UW career.
