DALLAS -- Senior Kelsey Plum of the University of Washington women's basketball team was named the Ann Meyers Drysdale national player of the year by the United States Basketball Writers Association.

Plum scored 21 or more points in all 35 games this season, including 17 30-plus and five 40-plus games. She scored a Pac-12 record 54 points in the final regular season game of her career.
Plum is also a finalist for the Lieberman Award, Naismith Award, Wade Trophy and Wooden Award.
