
No. 10 Washington Continues Pac-12 Play At Utah, Colorado

SEATTLE -- The No. 10 University of Washington women's basketball team (20-3, 8-2) continues Pac-12 play on the road, traveling to Salt Lake City to play Utah (14-7, 3-7) on Friday (Feb. 3) and Boulder to face Colorado (12-9, 2-8) on Sunday (Feb. 5). The games will air live on Pac-12 Networks with radio coverage on gohuskies.leanplayer.com.
Washington is coming off a 72-68 loss at home to No. 8 Stanford on Sunday (Jan. 29). The Cardinal rallied from an 18-point first-half deficit to beat the Huskies in front of an historic crowd of 10,000 at Alaska Airlines Arena. It was the first sellout in program history and shattered the previous record of 8,408 in 2003. For the fourth time this season, senior Kelsey Plum matched a season-high with 44 points. She drained a career-high seven three-pointers going 7-of-8 from distance.
For her efforts last weekend against Cal and Stanford, Plum earned her second espnW Player of the Week honor and fifth Pac-12 award this season.
In the latest AP Top 25 poll, Washington dropped three spots to No. 10, joining four other Pac-12 schools: Stanford at No. 8, Oregon State at No. 11, UCLA at No. 13 and Arizona State at No. 23.
Washington is ranked No. 10 in the latest RPI poll, joining Oregon State (No. 7), Stanford (No. 8), UCLA (No. 9), and Arizona State (No. 27) in the Top 30.
The Huskies are leading the nation in several categories, including 255 made three-pointers. Washington ranks third in three-point field goals per game (11.1), third in made free throws (367), fifth in points per game (86.6), fifth in scoring margin (24.7) and 10th in field goal percentage (47.2).
Seniors Plum and Chantel Osahor are leading the nation in scoring and rebounding, respectively. Plum is averaging 31.3 points per game and Osahor is averaging 14.6 rebounds per game to go along with 15.3 points. Osahor's 18 double-doubles this season also tops the NCAA and her 30 career double-doubles is tied for second-most in program history.
The Huskies are led by a trio averaging double-figures: Plum (31.3), Osahor (15.3) and Natalie Romeo (10.2). Romeo drained a career-high 10 three-pointers against Cal on Friday (Jan. 27).

Head coach Mike Neighbors and Plum, Osahor and Katie Collier are 5-3 against Utah in the previous three seasons. Washington has lost the last two meetings in Salt Lake City.
