Quick Hitters
• Head coach Lorenzo Romar will be coaching his 650th career game on Saturday
• As UW will now face TCU twice in five days, it will be just the third time since the 1979-80 season that the Huskies have played a non-conference opponent twice in the same season ... UW faced Seattle on Dec. 15 and Jan. 29 during that year while the Huskies took on Texas twice in 12 days a year ago (Nov. 13 in China, Nov. 26 in The Bahamas).
• The last time UW faced the same non-conference opponent in back-to-back games was during the 1975-76 season when the Dawgs went to Hawaii for two-straight games Jan. 24 and Jan. 25, 1976.
• UW held WKU to 47 points thanks to keeping the Hilltoppers without a point for 7:16 during the final eight minutes of the game ... WKU's 47 points are the fewest by a UW opponent since OSU scored just 43 on Jan. 15, 2015.
• WKU shot just 25.4 percent from the field (17-of-67), which is the fourth-lowest FG percentage by an opposing team during the Romar era and the lowest at a neutral or road site during that span ... additionally, it is the lowest since Grambling shot just 23.3 percent on Dec. 17, 2014.
• UW held WKU to just 16 points in the second half, the lowest by an opponent since Oregon State had just 15 in the first half on Jan.15, 2015
• UW recorded 60 rebounds in its win over WKU for its most since 60 against Mount St. Mary's (11/19/15)
• Since being outrebounded in its first outing against Yale (-13), UW has since won the boards battle in every game with a margin of +11.8 in that span while recording four-straight wins.
• Fultz has accounted for 42.9 percent of UW's scoring as he is averaging 22.2 ppg and 7.2 apg ... he had a hand in 45 of UW's 90 pts vs Yale, 49 vs. Cal State Fullerton, 36 vs. NAU and LBSU and 34 vs. WKU.
• Fultz posted a career-high 10 assists against W. Kentucky for the most assists by a UW freshman since 2013-14 (Nigel Williams-Goss, Feb. 22, 2014) ... he's just the third Husky freshman since 1994 to post at least 10 assists joining Williams-Goss and Michael McClain (March 3, 1994).
• Sophomore Dominic Green became the fifth Husky to post a 20+point scoring game this season as he set a career-high with 20 against W. Kentucky on 7-of-11 shooting, including a 4-of-6 mark from 3-point range.
• Sophomore Matisse Thybulle has upped his scoring average by over seven points from a year ago as he is now putting up 13.6 per game compared to 6.2 last season .. he is also shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range up from 39.7 percent and 36.6 percent a year ago, respectively.
• UW's roster has no scholarship player that was on scholarship two years ago ... there are only two players that have been here longer than one season (Dan Kingma, Greg Bowman) ..SO Matisse Thybulle is the only returning player to start in all 34 games a year ago ... SO David Crisp and SR captain Malik Dime are the other two that saw action in every game last season
