Washington To Face Baylor In Marquee Non-Con Clash At Climate Pledge Arena

SEATTLE โ In one of the marquee non-conference matchups of the college basketball season, Washington will face Baylor on December 19, 2026, at Climate Pledge Arena, headlining the inaugural Seattle Holiday Classic.

A top-tier test for the Huskies shortly before the rigors of Big Ten play resume, the matchup will not only provide a quality non-league opponent for the Huskies, but a chance for local fans to cheer on the Dawgs at the home of the Seattle Kraken, Seattle Storm and Seattle Torrent.

"We're excited to be a part of the inaugural Seattle Holiday Classic," UW head coach Danny Sprinkle said. "It's a great opportunity for our program to play a high-level, resume-building non-conference game against an elite opponent in Baylor, and to do it in a world-class venue like Climate Pledge Arena right here in our own backyard. We're looking forward to competing in front of Husky fans and being part of what we hope becomes a great basketball tradition in Seattle."

The Seattle Holiday Classic will also feature a matchup between Washington State and Seattle U on Dec. 19 at Climate Pledge Arena. One ticket will provide admission to both games.

TICKET INFORMATION
Washington Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders will receive tickets in priority seat locations to the Seattle Holiday Classic as part of their 2026-27 season ticket package. UW is designated as the home team for the Baylor matchup, which was originally scheduled as part of a home-and-home series before being moved to the Seattle Holiday Classic. This includes both current and new Season Ticket Holders.ย New 2026-27 Season Tickets are still available at http://gohuskies.com/MBBTickets.
Additional information about seat assignments for Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders will be communicated later this fall.
Husky fans who are not Season Ticket Holders also have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets now through a dedicated UW presale link.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale Wednesday, August 19, at 10:00 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster and the Climate Pledge Arena Box Office.
