
UW Heads To Berkeley, Calif. For USTA/ITA Regional

SEATTLE – After concluding play at the ITA All-American Championships last week, the Washington men's tennis team will travel to Berkeley, Calif. for the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships beginning on Thursday.
Last year's host of the regional, the Huskies will join fourteen other schools: California, Stanford, Oregon, Eastern Washington, Pacific, Gonzaga, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Fresno State, Saint Mary's, Sacramento State, Santa Clara and UC Davis. The tournament will feature over 100 singles players and over 50 doubles teams, with draws available online late Wednesday.
Champions of the main draw in singles and doubles at the regional will earn a spot at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, taking place from November 3rd to the 6th at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.
There will be live streaming for the event available through the California athletics website for all matches at the Hellman Tennis Complex, which can be found by following the link above. Matches will also take place at two other complexes, with streaming unavailable for those.
