With Sunday's win, Washington improves to 47-25 all-time against Oregon State (25-9 at home), and has now won the last six-straight meetings against the Beavers at Bank of America Arena.
With her seven assists, senior point guard Emily Florence now has 378 for her career and is three behind former Husky Yvette Cole (381) for fifth place on the Washington all-time career assists list.
Florence also led the Huskies with 10 rebounds - nine of which came in the first half - which were one shy of equaling her career-high of 11 set twice, the last time being at Hawaii (Nov. 16, 2007). Florence has pulled down at least seven rebounds 13 times this season.
Freshman guard Katelan Redmon scored a game-high 13 points on 6-15 shooting and led the Huskies in scoring for the 10th time this season. Redmon has registered double-figure point totals in 17 games this year.
Senior forward Andrea Plouffe finished with 10 points, all coming in the first half, marking the eighth time she has scored in double-figures this season.
Washington shot just 26.9% (7-26, 0-8 from 3-point range) in the second half, compared to 55.2% in the first half (16-29), a team-high for the Huskies in the first period this season.
The Huskies pulled out the victory despite suffering a lengthy field goal drought, lasting the final 7:07 of the contest.
Leading by 13 (55-42) with 5:49 to play in the game, the Huskies struggled to score and Oregon State mounted an 11-2 run to pull within four (57-53) with 2:03 remaining.
The Huskies improve to 9-2 this season when having the lead heading into the break.
