Sophomore forward Andrea Lalum left today's game at the 18:49 mark in the first half with a sprained left ankle. Her status is uncertain.
Pac-10 leading scorer Felicia Ragland, averaging 19.9 points per game entering today, scored 25 points tonight, and is now averaging 25.5 points in two games versus Washington this year.
Washington was held without a two point basket for the first 17 minutes of the game, yet trailed only 24-18 when Kellie O'Neill scored the Huskies' first two-pointer at the three minute mark.
UW made seven three point field goals in the first half, but just one basket from inside the three point line. For the half, Washington shot 43.8% outside (7-16) and just 7.1% inside (1-14).
Loree Payne scored Washington's first five points of the overtime to give the Huskies a 69-67 lead with 3:48 left to play, however, the Huskies could only manage a last-second bucket by Giuliana Mendiola the rest of the way.
Oregon State's six blocks tonight were the second most by a Husky opponent this season.
Tonight's game featured 14 lead changes and 13 ties, including two each in the overtime session.
After OSU took a 13-9 lead with 14:39 to go in the first half, neither team scored for the next 6:44 before Leilani Estavan broke the drought with a three pointer to give the Beavers a 16-9 lead.
