UW Men's Tennis Shutout by No. 2 UCLA

SEATTLE, Wash. - - In the last home match of the season, the No. 28 ranked Washington men's tennis couldn't get past No. 2 ranked UCLA this afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center as UCLA shutout the Huskies 7-0. The Huskies fell to 2-4 in the Pac-10, while UCLA improved to 6-1. The Huskies are now 14-8 overall.
Senior Nick Quatrochi and junior Andy Posavac couldn't contain the No. 5 ranked doubles pair Jong-Min Lee and Brandon Kramer, as UCLA won 8-4. Quatrochi and Posavac have a season record of 6-6 in doubles play.
Posavac then fell to Jean-Noel Grinda, 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 in a one of his hardest fought matches of the season. Freshman Matt Hanlin, ranked 98, lost an intense and exhaustive match at the end to No. 36 ranked Jong-Min Lee in singles action also. Hanlin's record now stands at 24-11 overall.
The Huskies travel to Eugene, Oregon on Sat. Apr. 22 to take on the Ducks in the Huskies last regular match of the season, starting at 2:00 p.m.
