When the stadium was built in the 1960s, it was purposely planned to be in the exact same location as the old UW baseball facility called Graves Field. The seating featured at the Bill Quillian Stadium is the same concrete stands that were used by Husky Baseball fans for years. Fans can watch all the action from modernized theater seating at the west end of the stadium or from numerous bench seating behind each court baseline.
The playing surface at the Bill Quillian Tennis Stadium is the exact same surface as the Nordstrom Tennis Center, which allows for a seamless transition for UW Tennis athletes.
