No. 31 UW Men's Tennis Volley Past No. 59 Oregon

EUGENE, Oregon - - The UW men's tennis played tough to beat Pac-10 rivals Oregon 5-2 today at Willow Creek Tennis Courts. This was the last match of the regular season giving the Huskies a 15-8 overall record and 3-4 record in the Pac-10.
Senior Nick Quatrochi and freshman Ari Stasberg improved their doubles record to 7-6 as they played hard and defeated Guilllermo Carter and Leslie Eisinga 8-6. Freshman Matt Hanlin and senior Mark Woolley were also victorious in doubles action handing a loss to Joaquin Hamdan and David Becker 8-3.
Hanlin, ranked No. 98 in singles, came out strong against Carter winning 7-6, 6-1. Hanlin improved to 25-11 for the season. Junior Andy Posavac played in the No. 2 position today and came back to defeat Thomas Schneiter, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
The Huskies will play in the Pac-10 Championships Apr. 27-30 in Ojai, California. Events are scheduled to last all day.
