"Unglued would be a good word to describe the second half. That's the best
we've seen Stanfords defense all season. Give credit to Tara (VanDerveer)
and her staff.
"Offensively, Stanford has so many weapons but they really got after it on defense today. That was a whole different team than what we saw in Seattle. I give them credit for how hard they played defense.
"Mentally we didn't play 40 minutes. We played maybe 30. For awhile, we were okay defensively on the interior. (Sarah) Dimson had a tremendous game for Stanford. She got loose and got them going. They just continue to bring size off the bench and that hurt us."

"We put together a good 30 minutes, a good first half. We came out alright
in the second half but then one mistake led to another and Stanford got
going. They played a good game.
They are a great shooting team. We knew we had to watch out for their
three point shots."

Offensively, we struggled at the beginning today but we had the lead based on our defense. Milena Flores had a great second half. We had them down and we just kept going. That was a big win for them up there (Jan. 27). We are trying to approach every game as a championship game and fine tune things for the NCAA Tournament."
