Emily is in her second season with Washington Athletics. She serves as the primary media contact for the gymnastics and women's tennis teams and produces written and social media content for the programs.
Emily also works as the communications assistant for the Washington athletic department, helping with other sports at UW. She assists with SID responsibilities such as writing sport-specific releases, creating social media content, and running statistics and other game-day operations.
Emily earned her master’s degree in June 2023 from UW’s Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership M.Ed. program. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a sociology minor from Whitman College in 2021. Emily was also a student-athlete at Whitman and competed on the women’s basketball team.
After graduating from Whitman, Emily worked as the sports information assistant and video producer for the Whitman athletic department during the 2021-22 season.
