2019: Competed twice outdoors in the 800-meters, with a best time of 2:21.44 at the Ken Shannon Invitational.
2018: Redshirted her first season on the squad.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle … parents are Mary Hebert and Gus Ripple … has one older sister, Monica … both parents attended Washington and her mother swam at UW and also was an NCAA D-II national champion … grandfather John Hebert and numerous other relatives are also Huskies … sister runs track and field at Gonzaga … a two-time Washington 3A state champion at 800-meters, and a two-time 4x400-meter relay champion to go with four more individual state runner-up finishes and three more podium placings over her career … won the 800-meter state titles as a freshman and a sophomore in 2015 … ran 800-meter season-bests of 2:10 three years in a row from 2014-16 … at the 2014 Junior Olympics national meet in Humble, Texas, won the 1,500-meter title in 4:39.31 and was third at 800-meters in 2:10.98 … raced a three straight Brooks PR Invites at 800-meters, with a best finish of seventh in 2015 with a time of 2:10.78 … in cross country, was 18th at the state championships as a senior in 2016, and was ninth as a junior and fourth as a sophomore … also lettered one year of soccer … a National Merit Scholar in high school and a Phi Beta Kappa book award winner … received an award in technology from the American Association of University Women … admitted directly to UW’s School of Computer Science and Engineering.
