High School and Personal: Born in St. Marys, Georgia β¦ parents are Rebecca and Thomas Sydnor Jr. β¦ has one older brother, Dean, a 2017 UW graduate β¦ father played baseball two years at the U.S. Naval Academy β¦ reached the state championships in track as a sophomore, finishing 11th in the 1,600-meters β¦ missed her junior and senior track seasons due to injury β¦ was runner-up in the 800-meters and third in the 1,600-meters at the KingCo Championships as just a freshman in 2014 β¦ third at KingCo as a sophomore with a 1,600m PR of 5:01.07 β¦ as a junior in cross country, finished 24th at the 2015 4A State Championships and was ninth at KingCo β¦ competed just once as a senior due to injury, taking 11th at KingCo to help her team reach state β¦ graduated with a 3.98 GPA.
