Olivia Anderson enters her third season with Washington.
SOPHOMORE (2024-25)
Anderson began her sophomore season with four rebounds, a block, and a steal to help power Washington to a win over Siena (11/10). Against Furman (12/19), she added four points, a block, and a steal. Anderson made her final appearance against Northwestern (12/28) before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
FRESHMAN (2023-24)
Anderson was a major contributor for a crucial win against Oregon (2/23), finishing a perfect 5-for-5 from the field in her first double-digit performance with Washington, registering 10 points. She made her Husky debut against Sacramento State (11/6) and collected a career-high seven rebounds in a win over NC Central (11/9). Anderson dished out two assists against Colorado (2/4) and two blocks against Saint Mary’s (12/16). In 18 appearances, she averaged 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds. She finished the season shooting 44.1% from the floor (15-34).
HIGH SCHOOL
Anderson arrived on Montlake after a tremendous career at Ellensburg High School. During her time as a Bulldog, Anderson led the program to two state titles.
Anderson, who averaged a remarkable 22.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks, is a 6-foot-6 center with incredible touch around the rim. Her play earned her three First-Team All-District Awards (CWAC), a spot on the 2023 Washington All-State team, and a No. 1 ranking on the PrepHoops 2022 Washington Prospects List. Anderson cracked the ESPN Top 100, peaking at No. 25 in 2020.
At Ellensburg High School, Anderson led the Bulldogs to an impressive 72-5 record that included three Central Washington Athletic Conference Championships (2020, 2022, and 2023) and back-to-back 2A State Championships (2022 and 2023). Her team finished 47-2 in conference play and won four consecutive conference regular-season titles.
PERSONAL
Olivia is the daughter of Amy Nelson and Jason Anderson and has a sister, Alicia. She is a stepdaughter to Tara Anderson and has four stepsiblings: Evyn, Berkeley, Kaeden, and Cambell. Her dad played rugby in college, and her grandfather was a basketball player for Lewis and Clark College. Anderson enjoys spending time with family, playing volleyball, and going for drives with friends.
She is interested in studying business and aims to one day become the general manager or coach of a sports team after she is done playing professionally. Anderson plans to pursue Education Studies, with a focus on sports and education.
