On-Campus Housing
Here are some of the features of on-campus housing at the University of Washington:
Off Campus Housing
Eighty percent of UW freshmen and sixty percent of all undergraduates are able to live within walking distance of the campus.
Fraternities and Sororities
There are currently over 45 residential fraternities and sororities associated with the University of Washington. All fraternities and sororities are located just North of campus and all within walking distance.
On-Campus Dining
There are 14 different, on-campus dining locations, including two convenience stores. One meal card allows you to eat at all 14 locations, giving students the flexibility to chose what, when and where they eat.
Activities and Organizations
Students have access to over 200 cultural, academic, social and recreational organizations. The Husky Union Building (The HUB) serves as the center of campus life and the headquarters for registered student organizations. The UW features a host of intramural sports, everything from softball to inner tube basketball.
Foreign Study Options
Students have the opportunity to gain a more sophisticated and practical understanding of the world beyond home and campus. They can earn full UW credit while studying at a foreign university. Foreign study programs involve locations in the countries of:
