Dear GymDawg Fans,
The Christmas break is over and everyone returned to Seattle ready to work! After a 10-day break everyone was excited to come back. Outside of the gym we're like sisters, and being away from each other for that long was rough. We've had a lot of fun the past few days. The dorms are still closed, which means the freshmen are staying with the upperclassmen until the 6th, Slumber party!
Everyone was extremely busy before the break with finals, so we waited to have our annual Christmas party on Saturday. This year we had an exceptional Christmas party at the Iselin home. Jerry and LuAnn opened their home to us and made a wonderful dinner. The steak was amazing! Thank you again Jerry and LuAnn! Every year at the Christmas party we do a gift exchange. Everyone got some great Christmas presents. The Christmas party was also special because we were able to celebrate Emily's birthday.
We've been having tons of fun outside of the gym, but when practice starts we're all about preparation. Our first meet is coming up soon. In the gym everyone has been working hard like usual. We are preparing for our first meet in Denver. Pressure set routines are going to be very important the next few practices to prepare everyone for our first meet. Season is the fun part, and I can't wait for it to start.
