Hello GymDawg Fans,
Wow. I can't believe it is my senior year. I feel like just yesterday I was a little freshmen that did not know what I was getting myself into. The past three years have been such a growing experience for me: as a gymnast, as a student, and also as a person. The lessons learned, hard and easy, have helped me to become who I am today: and I credit this to the coaches I have had and have, the team of amazing young women, my family, and all those that have believed in me.
On another note:
"Today's preparation, determines tomorrow's opportunity."
Pre-season is here!! That means getting back into shape, hard practices, and of course, school again! In the gym, everyone seems to be adjusting well. It is so nice to have a team that is so eager to achieve our goal of going to nationals and coaches that can help us get there. Each and every one of us is working hard and just wait, there will be many surprises this year...bigger flips, harder sequences, triple-flight series, and even more twisting. Although, some days are better than others, it is pushing through the hard ones that make us better.
The intensity is high, the energy has increased, and standards have been raised. Watch out GymDawg fans, it is going to be an exiting year!
