UNIVERSITY PARK, Penn. – Washington fell in game three of the series against Penn State on Saturday afternoon, 4-0.
The Huskies move to 22-29 and 11-16 in Big Ten play.
Washington struggled to get the offense going on Saturday, collecting four hits and four walks across the nine frames.
Hayden Lewis made the start for the Dawgs, throwing 5.1 innings while allowing 10 hits and four runs.
Tommy Brandenburg, Jack Wade, and Bryce Johnson closed out the game, tossing the final 2.2 innings.
Washington returns to action on Thursday as the Huskies host No. 1 UCLA for the final home series of the season.
