Washington Men Headed To 2026 MPSF Championships

The No. 1-ranked Washington men's rowing team heads to the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rowing Championships this Sunday at Lake Natoma, in Gold River, Calif.
This year's championships regatta marks the Huskies' second year as a member of the MPSF. This year's lineup includes six programs: Washington, California, Stanford, Oregon State, UC San Diego and the University of British Columbia.
The MPSF Championships will consist of grand finals (i.e., no heats or semifinals) in five race categories: first, second and third varsity eights; freshman eights; and varsity fours. The overall conference championship is awarded to the winner of the varsity eight race.
Here is the schedule of races:
Sunday, May 17
9:00 a.m. PT – Freshman Eight Grand Final
9:15 a.m. PT – Varsity Four Grand Final
9:30 a.m. PT – Third Varsity Eight Grand Final
9:45 a.m. PT – Second Varsity Eight Grand Final
10:00 a.m. PT – Varsity Eight Grand Final
Live video coverage of the MPSF Championships will air on Overnght.com, which requires a subscription. The IRA National Championship Regatta will also air on Overnght.com at the end of this month.
The Washington men have won a total of 41 conference championships in men's rowing, dating back to 1961 and including the final Pac-12 Men's Rowing Championship two seasons at Lake Natoma. Here is a list of Washington's all-time men's rowing conference championships (1995 and 1996 were combined men's and women's championships):
