Conibear Shellhouse
The Conibear Shellhouse is located on the shores of Lake Washington and has served as the primary home for Husky Crew since its construction in 1940. Conibear serves as a home for many iconic pieces of rowing history, including the original boat from the UW team that, against all odds, won gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The Montlake Cut is the section of the Lake Washington ship canal that runs through the city of Seattle, serving as the home course of the Huskies since 1960.
