UW Women’s Soccer Adds New Zealand International Grace Duncan

SEATTLE – Washington women's soccer head coach Nicole Van Dyke has announced an addition to the Huskies' incoming freshman class with the signing of New Zealand native Grace Duncan.
The addition of Duncan brings Washington's incoming rookie class to eight players who will join the UW program ahead of the 2026 season.
"Grace is a fantastic addition to the Class of 2026," Van Dyke said. "She comes to Washington with international and World Cup experience. Her versatility with both feet and positional flexibility will add to our explosive attack. We are looking forward to her meeting her classmates and joining us this spring."

- Started all three matches for the New Zealand National Team at the U17 World Cup in Morocco
- Earned Player of the Match honors during World Cup qualifiers
- Also competed for New Zealand at the U16 level
- Helped lead Zew Zealand to the Oceania Football Confederation U16 Championship
- Helped lead Otumoetai Collage to runner up at New Zealand Nationals
- Named school MVP four straight years from 2022-25
- Also received Senior Sports Girl Award from 2023-25
- Played for Tauranga Moana FC
- Earned team's Golden Boot and MVP awards in 2025
- Garnered MVP honors at U17 National Tournament
- Daughter of Hayden and Kyly Duncan
- Has two sisters, Abby and Maddy
