November 06, 2025 | Men's Tennis
SEATTLE – Husky men's tennis players take two paths this week, one south to Berkeley and the other east to Spokane. Washington will send Brett Pearson and Soham Purohit to take part in the doubles draw at ITA West Sectionals, hosted by Cal, while the rest of the squad takes part in the Gonzaga Fall Invite.
Pearson and Purohit, looking to make the most of their final chance to reach the NCAA Doubles Championship, start at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning against the tournament's No. 1 seeds from Stanford. Three doubles teams from West Sectionals will qualify for NCAAs.
Purohit is already qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship by virtue of winning ITA Northwest Regionals two weeks ago.
Action at Gonzaga begins Friday and runs through Sunday. Draws have yet to be posted at https://gozags.com/sports/mens-tennis
