
Huskies Fall Behind Early, Drop Series Finale At No. 2 Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Washington dropped the series finale at Oregon State, 10-0, Sunday afternoon at Goss Stadium.
Spencer Dessart wore the loss for the Huskies, allowing five runs on seven hits over three-plus frames.
A Travis Bazzana leadoff home run put the Huskies behind the eight ball early, with Oregon State tacking on another run to go up 2-0 after one.
A two-run home run by Elijah Hainlline in the second doubled the Beaver advantage, with OSU adding another on Gavin Turley's solo shot to make it 5-0 after four.
Oregon State added a run in the fifth and tacked on another in the seventh, taking advantage of an infield error to push the lead out to 7-0.
Bazzana lifted his second home run of the day in the eighth, rounding out scoring as the Beavers completed the sweep.
Washington turns its attention to the Boeing Apple Cup Series with Washington State, set for March 28-30 at Husky Ballpark.
