
Bowton and Aman Earn All-Region Honors

SEATTLE - Jadon Bowton and Richie Aman were each named a United Soccer Coaches All-North Region selection. Bowton earned a spot on the second team while Aman was placed on the third team.
Bowton ranked sixth in the NCAA and first in the Big 10 in games played this season (21) and in minutes played (1930). Among goalkeepers in the conference playing at least 18 matches, Bowton ranked first with only 22 goals allowed and a 1.03 goals allowed average. He also kept a conference-best eight clean sheets during the season, the ninth-most in the NCAA.
Bowton was instrumental in pushing the Huskies into the second round of the NCAA Tournament, making three straight saves in the penalty shootout against Seattle U.
Aman, who was just named an MLS College Showcase participant, featured in 21 games this season while making 18 starts. He recorded seven points during the campaign, coming from two goals and three assists along with 33 shots, the second most for the Huskies.
