
Washington Wraps Regular-Season Travel at Stanford

PALO ALTO, Calif. โ Washington (16-13, 8-10 Pac-12) concludes its final road trip of the regular season at Stanford on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Huskies aim for a fourth-straight win before returning to Alaska Airlines Arena for the regular-season finale against Washington State.

The Matchup
Washington takes aim at a third win over Stanford in four games. In the prior meeting this season, UW erased a 7-0 deficit to go on to blow out the Cardinal 86-69 in Seattle. The Huskies have not swept the season series since the 2018-19 season after being swept in the '19-20 and '20-21 seasons. The Cardinal enter the contest having lost three-straight after beating #4 Arizona. The Huskies have not won in Palo Alto since 2019 which was just their second road win in the series since 2010.

Keyon Menifield became the second Husky to be named Freshman of the Week this season joining Koren Johnson (1/16/23), who was the first Husky to win the award since Jaden McDaniels in March of 2020. UW is one of just two Pac-12 teams to have multiple student-athletes receive the award this season (UCLA).

Head Coach Mike Hopkins became the sixth UW coach to win 100 games following the team's win over Oregon State. Jamal Bey passed Darnell Gant for most games played in a Husky uniform when he checked into his 141st game against Arizona. Keion Brooks Jr. scored his 1,000th career point with a first-half three against ASU. Noah Williams eclipsed the 1,000-point mark at USC.
